The Agricultural and Natural Resources Policy (ANRP) Internship Program is recruiting students for the fall 2012 semester! As you may know, we send student every semester to intern in congressional offices and agriculture-related organizations in Washington, D.C. Of course the ANRP Internship Program cannot succeed without your support! We realize that you play a huge role in assisting students to develop and plan their academic and professional careers, and we thank you for suggesting our program to qualified students. Please keep in mind that this program is for students from all departments in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, not only for those interested solely in politics.
The program offers the following benefits to Washington, D.C. participants:
- Paid internship on Capitol HIll or with agriculture-related organization ($500 per month minimum)
- Free and fully furnished intern housing in Washington, D.C. area
- Full-time student status and academic credit
- Training and Support

To be eligible for an ANRP internship, students must meet the following criteria (please see the ANRP Internship Program website for complete eligibility criteria):
- Minimum of 2.25 overall GPR, 2.5 preferred
- Undergraduate, master’s or PhD student enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences
- U.S. Citizen
- Valid health insurance during their internship
- Attend all pre-departure events in College Station
