Each employee’s responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with Association policies, procedures, internal controls and bylaws, as well as, the code of conduct. Each employee shall promote the association through proper example within the community.
Education and Experience Requirements: Position requires a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Agricultural Business/Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
Job Purpose and Scope: The credit administrator will support credit department staff in basic administrative duties along with preparing internal reports on behalf of the credit department.
Primary Duties: The duties delegated shall include, but not be limited to the following:
Support credit department staff in generating monthly board reporting, assist with weekly loan committee, assist CLO with incentive tracking, administer YBS reporting and assist in internal monitoring programs.
Additional Skill Requirements: An excellent working knowledge of personal computers is essential including proficiency with Microsoft Office software. Good interpersonal skills and excellent oral and written communications skills are required.
Working Relationships: Work closely with senior management, credit, and branch office personnel.

Administrator Assistant – Credit Job Duty List
• Distribute weekly loan committee agenda with follow up of loan committee approvals
• Prepare the following monthly board reports:
o Loan committee minutes
o Quarterly YBS (existing and new business)
o Past Due Loans
o Exposure reporting
o Loan Volume and Classification
o New Volume
• Prepare the following internal reports on behalf of the credit department:
o Negative Commitment
o Distress Loans
o Adverse Actions
o Incentive tracking
o Exceptions (future)
• Maintain database of credit action approvals from FCBT and participation
• Maintain territorial concurrence approvals/denials, etc.
• Assist with Ag Biz Planner program
• Compile YBS reporting for annual business plan, FCBT, and FCA questionnaire
• Assist with compiling association’s watch list
• Assist in preparation for association’s executive committee
• Utilize WebEquity Manager

Union Standard Insurance Group: Agri Insurance Underwriter Trainee – Irving, TX

Starting as an Agri Underwriting Trainee and be promoted to Agri Underwriter in 5 – 7 months, depending on ability to learn our program and underwriting philosophy.

Have good understanding of farming, ranching, aquaculture, and/or agribusiness operations such as feed mills, feed stores, or agriculture services industries. Will be responsible for underwriting accounts in their assigned territory and establish working relationships with independent agents to help grow farm and ranch volume. Become familiar with insurance coverage parts, premium rates in assigned territory, and trends in the agriculture industry.

Good communication skills are very important to work with agents throughout the region and provide direction to our staff of policy processors.

Approximately 10-15% travel to visit agents, inspect accounts, attend industry functions, or for continuing education.

This is a salaried position. Depending on experience, the Trainee position salary range is $36,000 – $46,000. After promotion to Underwriter, the salary range is $45,000 – $55,000.

Union Standard has a 401K program which the company automatically contributes a minimum of 5% of employee’s salary regardless of participation in the program. That percentage is subject to increase depending on companies year end profitability.
