GOAL flyer

College of Agriculture and Life Sciences students,

Going Out and Leading (GOAL)is a professional leadership organization for ALL second and third year students in agriculture and life sciences. GOAL fosters excellence for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences by creating greater career awareness for students and middle school youth, mentoring future leaders in the area of agriculture and life sciences, and service to the Bryan/College Station community. Members will utilize resources, serve as a guide to several opportunities within the college, and encourage cooperation of diverse skills for common interests.

GOAL members will develop by learning about opportunities available as a student in AGLS, going on industry tours, socializing and mentoring freshman in the Freshman Leadership Experience organization, mentoring middle school students, and planning an AGLS Internship Summit.

Requirements include being a 2nd or 3rd year student in an AGLS major and being in good standing with Texas A&M.

Applications are due on Friday, September 6, 2013 @ 4:30 PM in Agriculture and Life Science Building Room 515.
